Come enjoy the trails of Infirmary Mound Park, on Monday, October 26th, 2026, for our 16th SHCA National WPD Hike, as we take a fall hike exploring one of the region’s state parks.
This year a 5-mile hike is planned. The trails will accommodate the experienced hiker as well as the beginner, who might want to see what it entails in earning a WPD title for their dog. We will be hiking on the park’s trail system which includes open mowed grass lands, prairies and wooded areas. This year’s 5-mile trek will be about 2 ½ to 3 hours in duration and will start early morning. The park is a short ride from this year’s National host hotel.
