Helping Siberian Rescue

Rescue groups are non-profit entities run by volunteers who love and want to help the breed. If you love the breed too and want to pitch in, rescues are always looking for volunteers to foster and transport dogs in need. They also need help with social outreach, including staffing adoption events and providing information to the public. And most rescues are happy to take a few bags of dog food or other supplies to give to their foster homes.

Finally, of course, rescues can always use cash donations to help with feeding and housing foster dogs, as well as veterinary care. If you do not live near a Siberian rescue and cannot physically help, donations are a great way to support their work. You might also consider donating to the SHCA Trust, which provides emergency funds to rescue groups across the United States for injured or critically ill Siberians. The Trust also provides grant funding for spay and neuter programs. Please visit the Trust’s website for more information on their mission and their programs.
