SHCA Obedience, Agility, and Rally Awards Rules

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Only members in good standing with the SHCA are eligible to apply.
  2. Owner must be a member of the SHCA at the time any score was earned.
  3. The Siberian Husky must be registered (this includes ILP numbers).
  4. The Siberian Husky must be owned or co-owned by the member making the application.
  5. The application must be submitted to the Obedience/Agility Chairman before June of the year following the completion year.

 

OBEDIENCE AWARDS

There will be six (6) awards. These awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting each year.

  1. An award will be given in each division (Novice, Open, and Utility) to the highest scoring Siberian Husky.
    1. This award is restricted to dogs earning their third leg in each of the divisions.
    2. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)
    3. Only the first three (3) qualifying scores will be counted for the award according to the highest average.
  2. An award will be given to the Top Scoring Scoring Siberian Husky holding a title of CDX, UD, or UDX (this is for the Siberian Husky that is being campaigned, having completed the degree requirements.)
    1. All qualifying scores (except OBEDIENCE AWARDS section 1.c.) will be counted for the this award according to the point system.
    2. A minimum of seven (7) scores is required for an application.
    3. Scores earned between January 1 and December 31 shall be counted.
  3. An award will be given to any dog earning a Utility Dog Excellent Title
    1. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)
  4. An award will be given to any dog earning the Obedience Trial Champion Title.
    1. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)

 

RALLY AWARDS

There will be four (4) awards. These awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting each year.

  1. An award will be given in each division (Novice, Advanced, and Excellent) to the highest scoring Siberian Husky.
    1. This award is restricted to dogs earning their third leg in each of the divisions.
    2. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)
    3. Only the first three (3) qualifying scores will be counted for the award according to the highest average.
  2. An award will be given to any dog earning a Rally Advanced Excellent Title
    1. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)

 

AGILITY AWARDS

There will be fifteen (15) awards. These awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting each year.

  1. An award will be given in each division (Standard Novice, Open, Excellent; Jumpers W/Weaves Novice, Open, Excellent; Preferred Standard Novice, Open, Excellent; Preferred Jumpers W/Weaves Novice, Open, Excellent) to the highest scoring Siberian Husky.
    1. This award is restricted to dogs earning their third leg in each of the divisions.
    2. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)
    3. Only the first three (3) qualifying scores will be counted for the award according to the highest average.
  2. An award will be given to any dog earning a Master Agility Excellent, Preferred Master Agility Excellent, Master Agility Jumper W/Weaves, or Preferred Master Agility Jumper W/Weaves Title
    1. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)
  3. An award will be given to any dog earning a Master Agility Champion Title
    1. Application for the award must be in the year that the final leg is earned (see ELIGIBILITY section 5.)

 

TIES

In case of a tie, duplicate awards will be presented.
