CATALOG ADVERTISING

Each year, SHCA Specialty Catalogs become collector’s pieces due to the historical content of the entries and ads. Make yourself part of that historical record for 2007 by advertising in The CRUSH! Specialty Catalog. Ad rates are:

Full page (includes one photo): $45.00
Half page (includes one photo): $30.00
Quarter page (NO photo): $20.00
Additional Photos (per photo) :$ 15.00
Catalog Honorarium (per dog): $ 5.00


SHCA Advertising Policy
For all dogs identified in advertisements: OFA and CERF/SHOR numbers will be used when provided. When numbers are not provided, it will be so stated. If a non-current CERF/SHOR number (one not from the current or previous year) is provided, it will be so stated. The only exception will be when adequate information is included with the ad to verify that the advertised Siberian is too young for OFA (two years) and/or CERF/SHOR (one year). When this occurs, it will be so stated.


Also, don’t forget to use the Specialty Catalog as the opportunity to remember dogs of your past. Place a listing in the Honorarium section for $5.00 per dog. Please limit your listings to the name of the dog and a MAXIMUM of 20 words.

You may submit your ad by sending your order form, payment, actual photograph(s), and any other component parts (such as logos, etc.) If you wish to submit your ad in electronic format, please follow these guidelines:
1. Scan pictures at 300 dpi, grayscale, sized and cropped as desired.
2. Create your full-page ad NO LARGER than 4.5” x 7.5”.
3. Use Adobe Illustrator and create outlines for your fonts, or use Microsoft Word (and specify fonts) to create the electronic version of your ad. (Please realize that your chosen font[s] may not be available.)
4. Make sure to follow SHCA’s Advertising Policy and include OFA and CERF/SHOR numbers for ALL dogs identified in ads.
5. All advertisements are subject to acceptance, rejection, or editing by SHCA, Inc.
6. Send the ad files, along with files of all logos, photos, and other component parts with your ad in one of these formats: “.jpg,” “.tif,” or “.bmp.” A CD or diskette is the preferable medium, but an attachment to e-mail works, too.
7. If you wish to submit your ad in “.pdf” format, you may do so, but realize that it might need to be remanufactured due to #2, #4, and/or #5, above.
8. Include a printed copy of your desired ad, along with your ad order form, and payment.
